Laney World Music Series

At Laney College there is a long series of performances under the banner of 'The Laney World Music Series'. The spring 2012 series has begun. The first performance was by Kenny Washington, February 9th, 2012. He is an accomplished jazz singer with a four octave range. He sang with a trio of musicians (piano, upright bass and drums), and answered student questions at length.
