We at 9th Floor Radio are always out and about, DJing here, performing there, recording this and that. Here is a download of three excerpts from recent events we’ve recorded. The first two tracks were from a night of music at the San Francisco Art Museum, organized by Julio Cesar Morales. The first bit is Chu Cha Santa Maria performing their version, translated into Spanish of the classic mash up of the Tom Tom Club’s ‘Genious of Love’ and Mariah Carey’s ‘Fantasy’, the second is Los Master Plus, a disco meets electro meets cumbia meets anything duo from Mexico performing their strange version of Radiohead’s ‘Creep’. The last bit is Orbless, Collin Mckelvey’s synth project featured previously here on 9th Floor Radio, performing live at a live taping of New York Public Access TV program E.S.P. TV, recorded live at Liminal Space in Oakland.
